I had forgotten if I had an account at SimplyHired.com so I submitted for a forgotten password request. Turns out I never created an account with SimplyHired, however this is the email they sent me in response:

Please visit the forgot password page and try a different email address. Don’t have an account? Create an account – you can save jobs and searches, manage your email alerts, and much more!. If you did not make this request, please ignore and delete this email. Thanks!

I just wanted to share what I believe to be a brilliant approach to the standard “forgotten password” email. SimplyHired chose not to simply display an “Account not found” message like so many others do, and instead invites you to join their website. Great work guys, I am creating an account right now.
